Cookie policy

Version 1.2-20261008-engagement, updated 8 October 2026. This policy covers minoicum.com and its connected applications and supplements the Privacy notice. Controller: House Of Disaster Production & Entertainment S.r.l., Via Alberto da Giussano 18, 20145 Milan (MI), Italy; support@minoicum.com.

1. Necessary and optional technologies

Necessary cookies and technologies enable access, sessions, security, CSRF protection, language settings and storage of your cookie choice. They are used to provide the service. Statistics and marketing categories are optional: they are not activated before you make the relevant choice. “Accept all”, “Necessary only” and “Customize” allow distinct choices; you can change them at any time through “Cookie preferences”.

2. Meta Pixel and conversion measurement

If you authorize the marketing category, Meta Pixel may load its script and measure visits (PageView). When enabled on the server, Meta Conversions API communicates completed registrations, trials actually activated, checkout starts and confirmed purchases directly to Meta. The server function does not itself require a new cookie, but it may use _fbp and _fbc, if available, together with other data described in the Privacy notice. We do not transmit CVs, job applications or job preferences to Meta. Server transmission does not bypass a refusal of advertising cookies: it requires the same explicit marketing choice and is checked again before transmission.

The _fbp and _fbc identifiers are associated with Meta tools and may help link an advertising interaction to an event. _fbc is not reconstructed if absent. Meta may apply its own retention periods and rules to data it receives: see Meta’s privacy policy. Choosing advertising cookies does not amount to consent to receive promotional emails.

3. Choice, withdrawal and duration

Your choice is recorded with the policy version and stored on your device for up to 365 days, unless changed or deleted earlier. This new version requires a new choice for optional categories; a choice made under a previous version does not automatically authorize Meta Conversions API. Refusal or withdrawal disables future advertising events and server events still queued. Events already lawfully transmitted cannot be withdrawn by Minoicum. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may require you to express your preferences again.

4. Server-side data and rights

Only when there is marketing consent and the server function is active, browser attributes needed for attribution are encrypted locally and expire after 7 days; queued events expire after 7 days and completed technical records are removed 30 days after the event. For data categories, legal bases, recipients, transfers and rights, see the Privacy notice or write to support@minoicum.com.

5. Time-on-site analytics

Average time on site. Only if you allow optional analytics do we measure the time a platform tab remains visible and active. The browser sends brief signals to our server; missing intervals and time with the page hidden are not estimated. We retain a random tab identifier and, for each session, its start time, last signal and measured seconds. These data contain no IP address, email, account ID or page URLs and are deleted after 30 days. The admin overview shows the average for sessions started in the last 24 hours and the average by start hour; ongoing sessions are partial. A tab is not a unique visitor. You may withdraw analytics consent in cookie preferences; no further signals from that session are recorded after withdrawal.

For time-on-site measurement, we use a random tab identifier in browser session storage only after analytics consent. Signals go only to our server, not to Meta or another analytics provider. Aggregate page-view counts by country are separate: they are calculated on the server without optional cookies and without retaining the IP address for this statistic.
