Terms and conditions of service

Operator scope and definitions

Minoicum is provided by House Of Disaster Production & Entertainment S.r.l., with registered office at Via Alberto da Giussano 18, 20145 Milan (MI), Italy, tax code and VAT number 10768750969, registered in the Milan Companies Register, contact hodtv@legalmail.it. These terms govern the relationship between the Operator and anyone using the service on Minoicum.com

“User” means the account holder; “Consumer” means a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to their business, commercial, craft or professional activity; “Professional” means a person purchasing in the course of such activities; “Plan” means the accepted commercial offer; “Cycle” means the billing period; “Automatic application” means a submission made within specific instructions previously set by the user.

Looking for work, holding a VAT number or indicating a preference for consultancy work does not in itself cause the loss of consumer status. Classification depends on the actual purpose of the contract. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions prevail over any incompatible clauses.

Subject matter of the service

Minoicum provides digital tools to organise a professional profile, identify and sort job opportunities, receive summaries and track applications. The features actually included, limits, frequency and price are stated in the Plan description and order summary.

The service may include analysis of CVs and professional documents, editable role and country suggestions, semantic matching, deduplication of listings, links to individual offers, saved items, status management and application submissions through supported channels. Configurable frequencies may be 1, 3, 5 or 7 days depending on the Plan. The preferred time indicates the processing or sending window, not a guarantee of delivery to the minute.

Minoicum is not the employer and does not conclude employment contracts or professional engagements on the user’s behalf. It does not guarantee employment, an interview, compensation or a minimum number of offers, unless a quantitative commitment is expressly included in the commercial offer. It remains obliged to provide the purchased features diligently and to comply with statutory guarantees.

Describing the service as digital does not override the rules applicable to employment intermediation or recruitment. The service does not include reserved activities that the Operator is not entitled to perform.

Registration identity and security

The user must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate data and use an email address under their control. Only one active account identity may exist for each normalised email address. The checks indicated by the interface are required and, for sensitive operations, renewed authentication or confirmation may be required.

The account is personal and may not be transferred or shared in a way that compromises security or circumvents Plan limits. The user must safeguard credentials, update relevant information and promptly report unauthorised access. The user is not automatically liable for every operation performed through the account irrespective of fault, service vulnerability or applicable law.

Free registration, where available, is not equivalent to purchasing a subscription. Payment requires a separate purchase process and explicit confirmation of the obligation to pay.

Profile documents and generated content

The user may upload relevant documents in the formats and within the limits indicated in the interface, up to the maximum number allowed by the service. The user must have the necessary rights and must not upload malware, documents belonging to other persons without entitlement, or unauthorised trade secrets.

AI extractions and proposals may contain errors, omissions or inaccurate interpretations. The user may review and correct them; data supplied directly and stated preferences must not be silently replaced by incompatible inferences. Before an application is submitted, the content to be transmitted must be approved using the feature’s procedures.

Uploading for analysis does not constitute a storage service for the original CV. The temporary file is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Notice. Users must retain their originals. Any export features do not guarantee the graphical or complete reconstruction of an original document that has already been deleted.

Minoicum is not authorised to invent experience, qualifications, certifications, work authorisations or answers to screening questions. Users must not use the service to present intentionally false information. The Operator remains liable for errors attributable to its own performance within the limits established by law.

Listings compatibility and external sources

Opportunities come from sources that are actually available and may lawfully be used, not from the entire labour market. The presence of a portal among the sources does not imply a partnership, product endorsement or the right to use any of its content. Trademarks and listings belong to their respective owners.

The score indicates estimated alignment with the profile and available criteria, not the statistical likelihood of being hired. Full-remote availability, the country from which work is permitted, any right to work, language and compensation are distinct elements. A listing described as remote may contain territorial restrictions or occasional attendance requirements: known restrictions are highlighted and missing information is not presented as verified.

Links lead, where available, to the individual offer. Listings and links may be changed or withdrawn after the last check. The service indicates the available time information and allows errors to be reported to support@minoicum.com. The user must verify the offer and the identity of the other party before sending additional data, signing agreements or making payments.

Ordinary offers can be viewed within the last 30 days; saved offers are available for 60 days from saving (saving does not guarantee that applications remain open). Saving does not extend the validity of the offer with the employer. Application statuses indicate the source of the update: user action, technical event or external confirmation.

A shortage of compatible offers may result in a summary with no new opportunities; this does not authorise the Operator to suspend purchased searches without explanation. Duplicates, updates and new versions of listings are handled according to the Plan features. The platform must not fabricate listings or percentages to fill a delivery.

Manual and automatic applications

A manual application through a link is completed on the recipient’s website under its terms. Minoicum does not acquire powers of representation merely by displaying the link.

The automatic feature, where available under the PRO Plan, requires separate activation. Before activation, the user is informed of supported channels, criteria, volume limits, usable data and attachments, recipient categories or identities, and how to suspend submissions. Instructions must be sufficiently specific; purchasing the PRO Plan alone does not activate every possible application.

Submissions are made exclusively through official APIs, authorised partner integrations or email addresses actually intended to receive applications, within permitted limits. Circumvention of CAPTCHAs, unauthorised access, prohibited simulation of interactions or unauthorised use of credentials for external portals are not included. Features such as LinkedIn Easy Apply are not promised as automated without an official integration permitting it.

Authorisation concerns preparing and submitting the application, not accepting job offers, concluding contracts, financial commitments, waivers or invented answers to legal and professional questions. If a step requires a further decision, missing information or acceptance not already validly granted, the flow stops and requests the user’s intervention.

The user may revoke instructions for future submissions under Profile → Automatic application (/app/profilo). Submissions already completed cannot be technically withdrawn as a result of revocation; rectification or deletion may be requested from the recipient under the applicable rules. Activities still queued are stopped according to their actual status, which is shown to the user.

The word “sent” is associated with the available technical evidence and does not guarantee reading or acceptance. An uncertain outcome must be identified as such; indiscriminate new attempts that create duplicates are not made. Within the retention period, the user must be able to view the recipient, content or approved version, date, channel and available outcome.

Purchase and pre-contract information

Before the order, we display the Plan’s characteristics, duration, billing and sending frequency, main limits, total price including taxes applicable to the consumer, currency, any additional costs, promotional conditions, renewal, cancellation and withdrawal. The Cycle price and summary frequency are not the same thing.

The user may correct errors before confirmation. The final button makes the obligation to pay unequivocal, for example “Subscribe and pay [AMOUNT]”. The paid contract is concluded when the payment receives server confirmation from the provider and access to the Plan is granted; conclusion of the contract and delivery on a durable medium must be validated before Live release; you will receive confirmation on a durable medium containing the summary, applicable terms and withdrawal information. A simple link to an editable page does not replace delivery of the terms when a durable medium is required.

The languages available for entering into the contract are no final version is currently published; this proposal is in Italian, and the EN/FR/DE/ES versions remain to be prepared after completion. The version you accept is retained with its identifier. In the event of interpretation doubts, the protection rules provided by law apply; a translation may not deprive the consumer of the information and protection due.

Prices payment trials and promotions

Payments are processed by the providers available at checkout. The chosen method may require authentication or renewal authorisation. The provider’s terms for the payment instrument do not replace the Operator’s obligations towards the user.

A free trial, if offered, states its duration, features, access requirements and what happens when it expires. The trial alone does not entail automatic charges unless the user has separately and clearly accepted a subscription with a known amount and start date. Reopening the account does not automatically entitle the user to a second trial if the offer limits the benefit to once per person.

Promotional codes and discounts are governed by the conditions displayed before use, including duration, combinability and the price after the promotion. They may not be revoked retroactively because of a generic change in the Operator’s decision. Proportionate measures may be taken in cases of documented fraud, with an opportunity to provide clarification.

If payment fails, we communicate the outcome immediately, where applicable. Any new attempts must fall within the authorisation granted and the provider’s rules. Suspension does not generate duplicate charges or unagreed penalties. Refunds due by law may not be compulsorily replaced by credits to spend on the site.

Renewal cancellation and Plan change

Automatic renewal operates only if clearly indicated and accepted at purchase. The dashboard displays the next renewal date, the applicable amount and the command to disable it. The user may cancel before renewal is executed without unnecessarily burdensome procedures; a request received in time takes effect even if internal processing is completed later.

Ordinary cancellation prevents subsequent renewals and leaves paid features usable until the end of the Cycle, unless immediate deletion is separately requested or there is a lawful suspension. For example, in a monthly cycle from 15 January to 15 February, cancellation on 25 January does not shorten the period already purchased. The effective dates are stated in the summary and depend on the contractual cycle.

For fixed-term service contracts with automatic renewal, the notices required by applicable law are sent, including, in the cases provided for by Article 65-bis of the Consumer Code, notice at least thirty days before expiry stating the date by which to cancel. The consequences of an omitted notice follow the law. The system must not use short cycles to conceal the nature of the renewal.

Plan changes require a summary of the price, effective date, any adjustment and new features, followed by the user’s acceptance. The proposed ordinary rule is that the change takes place at the next renewal without adjustments, unless a different offer is explicitly accepted. If the provider requires new approval, as may occur with PayPal, the change is not completed before that approval. The Operator cannot authorise payment on the user’s behalf.

Consumer right of withdrawal

The Consumer may withdraw from the distance contract within fourteen days of its conclusion, without giving reasons, subject only to the legal exceptions that actually apply. If withdrawal information is not provided, the extensions under Article 53 of the Consumer Code apply. A free trial and subsequent conversion to payment must be described clearly; applicable rights are not circumvented by calling the payment a “renewal”.

To withdraw, you may use the “Withdraw from the contract” function in your private account area throughout the period in which the right may be exercised, or send an unequivocal statement to support@minoicum.com (proposed contact to be confirmed for handling withdrawal) or Via Alberto da Giussano 18, 20145 Milan (MI), Italy. You may use form B23 without being obliged to do so. The online function makes it possible to identify the contract and the contact address for confirmation, displays “Confirm withdrawal” and sends without undue delay a receipt on a durable medium containing the content, date and time. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before it expires.

We refund the amounts due without undue delay and in any event within fourteen days of the withdrawal notice, using the same means of payment, unless otherwise expressly agreed at no cost to the consumer. No penalties are imposed for exercising the right.

If you expressly request that the service begin before the fourteen days expire, by means of a separate and informed choice, the service may begin immediately. If you subsequently withdraw, only the amount proportionate to the service actually supplied up to the notice may be due, where the statutory conditions are met and the information was correctly provided. The calculation follows the value of the service and not a fixed penalty; any free period remains free.

Merely logging in, uploading a CV, receiving the first match or making payment does not automatically result in loss of the right of withdrawal. For services, any loss requires full performance and the conditions of Article 59(a) of the Consumer Code. The exception for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium does not apply indiscriminately to the entire SaaS subscription. A request for immediate commencement is not a general waiver of rights.

Disabling renewal and withdrawing within the legal time limit are different functions; the interface distinguishes them. A Professional does not automatically benefit from consumer withdrawal rights, unless a contractual right is expressly offered in the order or an applicable rule provides otherwise.

Digital service conformity and remedies

The mandatory provisions on digital services apply to Consumers, including Articles 135-octies et seq. of the Consumer Code where their conditions are met. The service must conform to the contract and applicable conformity requirements, including functionality, continuity, security, compatibility and necessary updates. For continuous supply, conformity liability extends for the supply period prescribed by law.

In the event of failure to supply or lack of conformity, the consumer has the legal remedies: supply or restoration free of charge within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, a proportionate price reduction or termination in the prescribed cases, with reimbursement of amounts due. A complaint may be sent to support@minoicum.com with a useful description of the problem, without imposing formalities that restrict mandatory rights.

The absence of an employment outcome is not in itself a software defect; promised features not supplied, systematic errors against stated constraints or interruptions incompatible with the contract may be defects. Statements concerning AI uncertainty or external sources do not remove these obligations.

Closure reactivation and deletion

The user may distinguish between cancelling the subscription, closing the account with any optional retention of the profile, and requesting permanent deletion. Before confirmation, the effects on access, renewals, queued applications and recovery options are explained.

Scheduled closure normally leaves the already-paid period accessible and may be revoked until the indicated effective date. A permanent deletion request is instead handled under the GDPR and is not automatically postponed until the end of billing. The user is informed if this makes continued use of personal features impossible; applicable refund rights and legal obligations remain.

If a profile has lawfully been retained for the optional period, a new registration with the same email requires verification of the address and an explicit recovery choice. The subscription is based on the newly accepted terms, without silently reactivating previous payment mandates or marketing consents. Permanently deleted data cannot be recovered through a new registration.

Permitted use and prohibited conduct

The service must not be used for fraud, impersonation, spam, harassment, unlawful discrimination, violations of third-party rights or unauthorised access. Harmful uploads, attempts to circumvent controls, unauthorised mass extraction of data, resale of access and activities that compromise security or availability are prohibited. Published technical limits may not be circumvented through multiple accounts.

The restrictions do not prevent uses permitted by mandatory rules, including applicable exceptions relating to software and interoperability. Vulnerability reports must be sent to support@minoicum.com, without exploiting the flaw, accessing other persons’ data or conducting unauthorised destructive tests.

Availability support and suspension

The service requires an Internet connection and a supported browser. Relevant requirements and limits are communicated before purchase. Support channels and hours are indicated; a guaranteed response time exists only if expressly offered, without prejudice to legal time limits.

Maintenance and incidents may temporarily restrict access. The Operator takes reasonable measures to reduce the impact and communicates significant interruptions, in advance where possible. The unavailability of external providers does not automatically constitute force majeure or exclude all liability.

The Operator may limit or suspend only those features necessary in the event of a concrete security risk, unlawful use, material breach of the terms or non-payment. Except in urgent cases or where prohibited by law, it communicates the reasons, scope, possibility of remedy and dispute channel. Suspension is not imposed arbitrarily and does not automatically entail loss of all amounts paid. Data necessary for export or protection of rights continues to be handled in accordance with the law and relevant security measures.

Intellectual property and user content

The Operator’s software, interface and original materials are protected by applicable rights. The subscription grants a non-exclusive right of access and personal or internal business use, limited to the duration of the service; it does not transfer the software or trademarks.

The user retains rights in content they own. The user grants the Operator only the rights necessary to host permitted data, process it, generate results and transmit authorised applications, for the duration and purposes of the service. It does not grant a general licence to sell CVs, publish them or train models for unrelated purposes.

AI-generated results may not be unique and their protectability depends on the law and human contribution. The Operator does not grant rights it does not own and does not guarantee exclusivity of automatically generated expressions. This does not restrict ordinary use of professional texts produced for the user, without prejudice to third-party rights.

Liability

The Operator is liable for performing its obligations in accordance with the law. Liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, personal injury where it cannot be excluded, breach of mandatory obligations, consumer conformity rights or applicable data-protection liability is not excluded or limited.

We do not guarantee decisions by third parties, the accuracy of every listing or the future availability of an offer, but the checks and performance promised by the service remain due. Conduct by the user and third parties is assessed according to actual causation and responsibility. There is no general exemption for every AI error.

This version does not introduce a general monetary cap on damages or an unlimited indemnity payable by the consumer. Any specific limits for exclusively professional contracts require a separate, proportionate and validly concluded agreement, in compliance with Articles 1229, 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code where applicable.

Changes to the service and prices

Updates necessary to maintain conformity and security are supplied in accordance with law and contract. Further changes may be justified by technical developments, regulatory adjustments or documented changes to integrations, within permitted limits: they do not authorise the free removal of essential features already paid for.

For consumers, changes to the digital service during the contractual period comply with Article 135-vicies semel: a valid reason provided for in the contract, no additional cost for the change, clear information and, where required, advance notice on a durable medium. If the change has a more than negligible adverse effect on use or access, free termination within the statutory thirty-day period and further applicable remedies are recognised, subject to the legally compliant option of retaining the unmodified version without cost.

A price increase does not operate retroactively on a Cycle already purchased. For future renewals it is communicated with seven days’ notice, stating the new amount, effective date and option not to renew. Where specific acceptance is required, silence does not replace it. Changes to the terms do not constitute consent to new privacy purposes.

Communications and data protection

Contractual communications are sent to the verified contact address and, where appropriate, made available in the account. The user must keep the contact address up to date; this does not relieve the Operator of the burden of documenting communications and consent where required. Offer reminders depend on the Plan and preferences; delivery may be affected by the recipient’s filters, without this justifying omissions attributable to the Operator.

Data processing is governed by the Privacy Notice and the use of cookies by the Cookie Policy. Reading the notice does not mean consenting to everything it describes. Marketing, optional tracking, optional retention and automatic applications have separate controls.

Complaints and dispute resolution

For complaints, write to support@minoicum.com stating the account, contract and problem. The Operator responds as soon as possible, without prejudice to more favourable time limits provided by law. A prior internal complaint does not constitute a waiver of recourse to an authority or court.

The ADR bodies that the Operator is obliged or committed to use are [STATE NAME, WEBSITE AND SCOPE; IF NONE, STATE THE ACTUAL POSITION]. Where required, after an unresolved complaint, information about the relevant bodies and willingness to participate is provided on a durable medium. The current European list of bodies is available at https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/dispute-resolution-bodies.

The former European ODR platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025: it is not presented as a complaint channel that is still operational.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The contract is governed by Italian law. For a Consumer, this choice does not remove the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law that would apply in the absence of a choice, including those of the country of habitual residence in the cases covered by Article 6 of the Rome I Regulation. Mandatory rules on jurisdiction remain applicable.

For a consumer, the court is determined by the applicable protective provisions, including the court of the place of residence or domicile where the law so provides. The court at the Operator’s registered office is not imposed. For professional relationships, the ordinary rules on jurisdiction apply unless a separate valid agreement provides otherwise.

Accessibility and final clauses

Information on service accessibility and channels for reporting barriers is available by writing to support@minoicum.com. Applicable obligations are assessed under the legislation in force on digital services and electronic commerce; no unverified certification or exemption is declared.

The invalidity of a provision does not remove mandatory rights and does not automatically result in invalidity of the entire contract where it can continue without that provision. An invalid clause is not automatically replaced by another that is more burdensome. No occasional tolerance constitutes a general waiver of rights.

B22 Summary to be supplied with every order

The individual summary must contain: the Operator’s identity; contract identifier and date; Plan and features; search frequency; duration and Cycle; total price, taxes and currency; promotion and subsequent price; payment method; renewal and next charge date; cancellation procedure; withdrawal and the related form; any request for immediate commencement; relevant requirements and limitations; support; version and language of the terms. The summary may not leave the description of what was purchased solely to an editable website.

B23 Model withdrawal form

Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract. Its use is optional; an unequivocal statement and the online function remain available.
